Terry "Gutt" GHOLSON - Bass Guitar & Vocals
Relax the bass player is here! You may not take me home to meet momma, but you want me there when s$%t goes down. When Gutt pulls out his hard hitting 5 string destroyer, you will feel it through your whole body.Growing up with a family who loved country I found a love for alternative. Something about that in your face fast paced music that motivates me. Influences like Antharax, Metallica, Misfits, Ramones, Black Flag, Henry Rollins, Megadeath, 311, Sublime, 5 Finger Death punch, and so many more make me what I am today. My vision for this band was to bring a band to the Des Moines area that REALLY is different, with a hard hitting edge that will punch you in the face.From Gutt and The Rock Hard Muffins (if you know you know) to now 10 Fold Return you will feel the low backbone of the band, known as GUTT!
Bill Ritzman - keyboard/keytar/vocals
Everyone knows that the keyboardist in the band is judged by the size of their organ. Bill sports a hefty Nord Electro 3 for all your organ needs, while utilizing the Roland Fantom-7 to build those piano, synth, hippity-hop and techno sounds. Rounding out the instrument repertoire is the Roland Ax-Edge keytar - that brings out dance moves which ultimately cause his children to hide in shame.
Tickling the ivories beginning at age 5, Bill was classically trained and completed his music degree at Iowa Wesleyan college. While at college, Bill met a great group of musicians and band-mates with whom he would eventually collaborate to form Vertigo, a Southeast Iowa power-rock band. Most recently he has played with Rocket Transfer, Jason Brown and Recoil from the Des Moines metro area.
Bill is influenced by a wide variety of musicians and bands – including Bruce Hornsby, Prince, Styx, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and a number of emerging artists. At this stage in his live-music career, Bill is passionate about two things: 1) Bringing a diverse show of challenging and fun music, while 2) Attempting to bring a younger crowd to the live music scene (no offense to you old fogies that still have your horns in the air – we have a thing or two for you also).
Bill Brown - guitar & vocals
Bill Brown is an old soul who picked up the guitar at age 14 and has been playing ever since. We acquired Bill not too long ago because of his fierce fingers and super fat sound.....Bill has been blessed over the years with playing with bands that have opened for ZZ Top, Vince Neil, Sammy Hagar and the Circle, and could be found often being the opener for Hairball...... Bill has toured all over, showing off his ability.....Now settling in with 10 Fold Return seems like the perfect fit......He plays flashy guitars in which he makes them sing loud and proud....."I absolutely Love 10 Fold Return and our playlist" said Bill...."It's Different, complicated, and requires me to take my playing to the next level often". Well We're glad to have him and he is a must see in person as he rakes across the fretboard, it is a true treat! Rock on Bill!
Rachel digmann - vocals
Rachel joined the band after a mid-life crisis. Although she was new to stage performance, she's been a singer her whole life. After she established the guys were not serial killers, she jumped at the chance to join the group. Being in a band is more fun than divorce, and you make way more friends. You'll find Rachel killing pop songs, rock songs, but she truly loves songs like Zombie, and especially My Immoral by Evanescense, plus she loves to do heavy songs too! Rachel is a great asset to 10 Fold Return as she carries the vocals very well! Rock On Rachel!
Luc Dubay - drummer
A hockey fan at heart, I was playing in a local league, when 10 Fold Return came calling. I guess they saw the size of my sticks and then offered me the position behind the drums. After years of playing with myself in the basement, I now get to showcase my power. You want an up tempo fast paced hard hitting band, you now have it. Luc is truly a rhythm machine and he kills the hard stuff....Luc is about as fast as they come as a drummer and you'll notice right away how this guy keeps perfect time! If you're a band, you definitely want this guy behind the skins!
